BetOff rules

Points

Every member of a lobby starts with 100 points.

Points exist only inside BetOff. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred between players, deposited, withdrawn or redeemed for anything.

Making a pick

You stake points on an outcome at the price shown. The price sets the payout, and the payout is shown before you confirm.

A pick can only be made while its market is open. Once the game has answered it, it leaves the board.

Cash-outs

The host decides whether a lobby allows cash-outs, and can change it during the game.

With them on, you can sell a pick back at its current value. With them off, picks are held to the end of the game.

Settlement

Every pick is graded against the real result. Part-game picks settle when that part ends: a first-half pick at half time.

Winning a lobby

Most points when the last market settles. A lobby needs at least two people for a win to count on your record.

Fair play

One account per person. Lobbies are private and the host can remove anyone.

Nothing in BetOff may be exchanged for money or anything of value.
